I thought it was interesting to see how the role of the supply chain personal is quite essential. 'On the job' you realize you can't always communicate with the client (get a good view of stock requirement, documents required, procedures, failing IT).
This part of our course made me realize better under which circumstances our clients are working. How our client may not be trained adequately and is often working under poor conditions. (IT, supply chain management structure in place and working, cooperation between colleagues, visibilitiy throughout the supply line, work load, motivation etc.)
It was good to realize again how many contributors there are in a country. This fact may make (supply chain) management also complex.
