RBF is the acronym of results-based financing: cash or non-monetary benefit provided against measurable actions or achievement. Often synonymous with PBF and PBI.

SOP is the acronym for standard operating procedures.

SRA is the acronym for stringent regulatory authority. It means a regulatory authority which is (a) a member of the ICH (as specified on its website:; or (b) an ICH Observer, being the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) as represented by Swiss Medic, Health Canada and World Health Organization (WHO) (as may be updated from time to time); or (c) a regulatory authority associated with an ICH member through a legally binding mutual recognition agreement including Australia, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein (as may be updated from time to time).
